Guest Post Policy
Individual blogs: these are blogs like my own. Emm in London is a private blog and is not run for profit. The aim of the blog is to chronicle my travels around London and England and further afield to the rest of Great Britain, Europe, America and South Africa. This blog is a passion and a labour of love.
If you have been on a trip and have taken some fantastic photos, I would love to run a guest post where you tell us about your experiences. You will be allowed to write a brief bio about yourself and link back to your own blog. No embedded or sponsored links will be permitted in the post.
Guest posts are accepted from collaborative blogs and the basic distinction is that the primary objective of your blog should not be to make profit.
Companies or travel websites: if you represent a travel company, flight comparison, accommodation booking or tourism website, then I will accept a guest post from you under these conditions:
- Must be written in English and should conform to as high a standard as the writing on this blog.
- Must be unique to Emm in London and must not appear elsewhere on the Internet (either prior to posting or afterwards).
- Should be written on a destination which I intend to visit in the future. This includes the less popular destinations in Europe such as Serbia, Croatia, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovenia, Bulgaria and Kosovo as well as Snowdonia, Newcastle and Cornwall in the United Kingdom. The post can include activities, travel guides, language, traditions or historical knowledge about those areas. You may also include information about accommodation or travel but please see the next point.
- Embedded links will not be permitted in the body of the post (unless absolutely necessary). You will be given an opportunity to introduce the writer and your company at the end of the post.
- Post must include at least three good quality, original, high resolution photos.
- Guest posts from travel websites carry a fee of $25, payable through Paypal. For this fee, your post will remain on the front page of the blog for 10 days and the links back to your site will remain on the blog permanently.
